Note: If you don't know how to use ChatGPT Plugins? Then Read this article
I was unaware of this, but ChatGPT now has the capability to display maps. However, it is uncertain whether it will eventually replace Google Maps in the future. Nonetheless, here is a quick method to display any map within seconds:
Step 1: To display maps using ChatGPT, follow these steps:
- Access the Beta settings of ChatGPT.
- Look for the plugin options and activate the "Earth" plugin.
- If the "Earth" plugin is not available, navigate to the plugin store within ChatGPT.
- Search for the "Earth" plugin and install it from the plugin store.
Once the "Earth" plugin is installed and activated, you should be able to utilize the map display feature within ChatGPT.
Step 2: To request a map from ChatGPT, simply ask for it. By default, ChatGPT will show you a map with roads. Here's an example prompt to display a map of Times Square in New York City:
Prompt: "Please show me a map of Times Square in New York City."
Step 3: To request a satellite view of a location from ChatGPT, you can ask for it specifically. Here's an example prompt to display a satellite view of the Himalayas:
Prompt: "Could you please show me a satellite view of the Himalayas?"
Step 4: Certainly! You can request ChatGPT to display a satellite view with roads and city names. Here's an example prompt to combine a satellite view with roads in Silicon Valley:
Prompt: "Can you please show me a satellite view of Silicon Valley with roads and city names?"
